Problem:

Engine misfiring, check engine light on.

Solution:

Replace ignition coils

Models affected:

Infiniti I30 3.0 liter. 1999 thru 2001
Nissan Maxima 2008 thru 2011 3.0 liter.

Diagnostic:

Verify correct factory or NGK spark plugs are installed. Check power, ground, and connections at coils. Check wiring harness under the hood by passenger strut tower for wire breakages per service bulletin NTB01-076B. Replace ignition coils if needed. Problem:

If system power is lost due to dead battery or battery disconnected, it may be necessary to
reset the limit switch.

Models Affected:

2006 Murano 3.5

Solution:

To reset the limit switch, raise the glass to the top position. Then press and hold the reset switch that is on the power window motor (door panel removed) and lower the glass to the bottom position (don’t use the automatic portion of the power window switch). Release the reset switch and verify that the reset switch returned to its original position. Then raise the glass to the top position and verify window operation.
