Scion Repair

Highest-Rated Nissan Repair Shop

Creech Import is Raleigh’s most trusted Nissan repair service. Our experts have seen countless Nissan vehicles, and we can handle the wide variety of problems the various Nissan models may face. Nissan makes cars, SUVs, minivans, and trucks. Each model has unique needs, and our technicians are familiar with all of the situations a Nissan vehicle may see itself in.

The Nissan Altima is a mid sized car. The most common issue with the Altima is engine problems. The 2002 model is especially susceptible to engine failures. However, these cars may also have problems with the exhaust system, suspension, cooling systems, and electronics. The experts at Creech Import know the ins and outs of the Nissan Altima and can identify and resolve any issues your car may be experiencing.

Another popular car made by Nissan is the Maxima. Transmission problems are by far the most common issue we see at Creech Import. However, the strain placed on the body of cars in Raleigh is immense. The sand, gravel, and chemicals placed on icy roadways in North Carolina can lead to rust and other damages to the bodies of all kinds of cars – and the Maxima is no exception.

For example the Nissan Maxima and Infiniti I30.

Engine misfires check engine light on with code P1320.

Nissan Maxima

Problem:

Engine misfiring, check engine light on.

Solution:

Replace ignition coils

Models affected:

Infiniti I30 3.0 liter. 1999 thru 2001

Nissan Maxima 2008 thru 2011 3.0 liter.

Diagnostic:

Verify correct factory or NGK spark plugs are installed. Check power, ground, and connections at coils. Check wiring harness under the hood by passenger strut tower for wire breakages per service bulletin NTB01-076B. Replace ignition coils if needed. Our experts understand these unique stresses and can repair any problems you are having with your Maxima.

Nissan Pathfinder

Just like the Maxima, the Nissan Pathfinder is susceptible to transmission failures. The size of this SUV places a unique load on the vehicle’s transmission, which can lead to premature wear and failure. This appears to be a very serious issue with the 2005 model, especially. In addition, we commonly see cooling and fuel delivery problems in the Pathfinder.

The Sentra is another mid-sized car made by Nissan. Our mechanics can handle jobs for all varieties of the Sentra, including the S, SR, and SL makes. These vehicles may experience engine problems as they age. The 2005 model is especially prone to problems within the engine. Our technicians also see problems with clutches, brakes, and exterior accessories.

Creech Import provides the highest quality Nissan maintenance and repair jobs in North Carolina. We handle all makes and models of Nissan vehicles.

Problem:

If system power is lost due to dead battery or battery disconnected, it may be necessary to
reset the limit switch.

Models Affected:

Solution:

To reset the limit switch, raise the glass to the top position. Then press and hold the reset switch that is on the power window motor (door panel removed) and lower the glass to the bottom position (don’t use the automatic portion of the power window switch). Release the reset switch and verify that the reset switch returned to its original position. Then raise the glass to the top position and verify window operation.

Your Raleigh Go-To Scion Experts

Scion has established itself as one of the premiere economy brands thanks to a cool lineup of models, all of which the technicians at Creech Import are expertly qualified to service. While considered one of the more reliable economy imports on the market, these cars are not immune to mechanical troubles. But not only are Creech mechanics able to tackle any issues your Scion throws our way, with regular maintenance, we can keep it humming like it just rolled off the lot.

The Scion xA and xB models were the brand’s first offerings and thanks to Scion’s dependability, plenty of these cars are still on the road. But there have been some common troubles with both the transmission and rear speed sensors in the xB model, which the highly skilled Creech mechanics can handle with absolute confidence.

When Scion replaced the xA with the new and improved xD subcompact hatchback, consumers were drawn in by the extra features and sleeker design. However, with more features comes the possibility for more mechanical issues. For example, the engine control module (ECM)—which is responsible for regulating fuel injection, emission system and ignition—might need updated software to combat excessive oil consumption, among other potential problems. Creech Import technicians are fully versed in these and other mechanical issues and can get your Scion back on the road with a clean bill of health.

In 2012, Scion introduced the IQ, a tiny but mighty car aimed primarily at urbanites looking for an efficient ride that didn’t scrimp on style. Despite its super compact size, the IQ is loaded with features like a sport-tuned suspension and a built-in navigation system that the experts at Creech Import are qualified to repair should any issues arise.

There’s no doubt that Scion makes dependable cars that can stay on the road for years with minimal repairs. But in order to realize your Scion’s long-term potential, routine maintenance like brake and timing belt inspections is crucial to ensure any wear and tear can be caught early before minor issues become expensive, full-blown problems.

Whether your Scion is a new toy or an old friend, Creech Import has the knowledge and expertise to keep it up and running for years to come.
